Very happy with this vet and knowing I can go to them in an emergency. They do my cats vaccinations and routine checkups and always promote his health and work with me for him. Thanks everyone! Online booking has issues for me though, and sometimes it’s difficult to get through on the phone. Also think the cat wait area at least should have separate areas for pets that may have a pet-pet transmissible infection.

Received incredible emergency service for Rodney the Rabbit when he went into GI Stasis. Kept us in the loop and provided the uttermost care and attention for him. Not even registered with them but will be as soon as possible. 10/10

One of our pets was in for a weekend recently for a serious urinary issue. I am ever so grateful for Coastway for the treatment and veterinary support. Yes very very very expensive but money well spent. Good insurance is a must. The aftercare, calls and communication were first class from the veterinary side. However I found the insurance process with Coastway in house was frustrating. Coastway will happily take payment asap but the insurance side of CW is just automated emails stating a 7 day response etc and no updates or courtesy calls etc or no response to a feedback email really annoyed me. A quick update doesn’t hurt plus it buys CW’s insurance admin a bit more time if they’re busy. I rang another Coastway branch and explained and they said there were issues. So perhaps the directors would actually read the feedback@ CW emails and respond to loyal customers like myself who have paid out thousands over the years and will continue to do so. It’s not hard….

I had to attend late one evening as an emergency with my rat. It was easy to get the appointment and we were seen quickly. We saw Olivia who was so kind and compassionate, and the team were lovely. A very fair price as well.

I have taken my elderly ferret to this vet a few times, including one emergency. They have a vet on call at all hours of the day and they were able to check that my ferret was stable until we could see the exotics vet during work hours. I have had nothing but good experiences with the staff here, they explain their reasoning and what all the options are as well as being up front about treatment costs. When my ferret had to stay in hospital all day for monitoring, I knew she was well cared for because she came home relaxed and comfortable. It is, as other reviewers noted, expensive. To give you an idea, my ferret's most recent treatment (emergency visit, exotic consultation, all-day monitoring with blood tests and ultrasound, medication, follow up appointment) cost about £750 total. Considering the cost of staff with years of specialist training spending several hours on her, medical equipment, facilities, and support team it seems like a very reasonable price.

Coastway vets are by far the best vet I have ever visited.They,against all the odds repeatedly saved my best friends (dog) life.They were so kind to me personally in many areas.Everyone is so friendly and nice.In my experience the vets really listen and will do anything they can for your pets.
